What a year it has been for Payroll HQ. In a broader context, 2017 has seen;
- Beyoncé adds to the Beyhive with the birth of twins,
- dreams shatter with the news that Prince Harry is to wed Meghan Markle,
- Trump dominate headlines the world over, and
- love win with Australia voting for marriage equality.
Within the payroll landscape, 2017 has also seen Single Touch Payroll efforts ramp up ahead of it’s July 1 roll-out, and Sunday & Public Holiday penalty rates cut across five awards. On a more unsavoury note, we have to mention the Plutus Payroll scam, which allegedly defrauded the ATO of over $160million!
It may sound cliche, but here at Payroll HQ we certainly have had a year to remember. 30 Implementations producing over 40,000 payslips is no mean feat, and with client visits & training right across the country, from Bundaberg to Bendigo, we’ve clocked up our share of Kilometres!
We’ve taken on clients in Dentistry, Healthcare, Port Authorities, a Global Retail Brand, Agriculture, Security, Music Festivals, Hospitality and Construction.
It has been a memorable and enjoyable year and we can’t wait to tackle 2018 head-on.
Thank you to all our clients who have been fantastic to work with and have motivated and inspired us along the way.
Here’s to 2018!
